The streaming version has three additional songs that were not in the theater version: “The Archer”, “Long Live”, and “Wildest Dreams”. As of right now, the movie is only available for rent.

Five Songs Recommended By Swifties That Took New Listeners By Surprise

The ‘Eras Tour’ hype has some people checking out Taylor Swift’s music for the first time with the guidance of the Swifties calling attention to lesser-known (but must-listen-to) tracks. The hundreds of reaction videos on YouTube show that ‘Miss Americana‘ is growing her audience, earning the respect of the ones who previously considered Taylor a product of the pop music industry and not the extremely versatile, talented, and well-rounded singer/songwriter she is with a huge catalog of music spanning over 18 years.

In honor of the streaming release, here are five songs that have earned rave reviews from the newer Taylor Swift fans.

Don’t Blame Me – reputation

Slow and sexy with a lo-fi vibe, ‘Don’t Blame Me’ is a prime example of her amazing vocal range and power. The energy shifts from piano and vocals to an amped-up chorus of Taylor Swift’s harmonies with vocal runs.

Callout Lyrics:

Don’t blame me, love made me crazy
If it doesn’t, you ain’t doin’ it right
Lord, save me, my drug is my baby
I’ll be usin’ for the rest of my life

Taylor Swift – Don’t Blame Me – Reputation Tour

Vigilante Shit – Midnights

The song brings vocals first leading into Taylor singing with just 808s and a snare. This is a perfect anthem for anyone who was cheated on and wants to hear some vigilante justice.

Callout Lyrics:

She needed cold, hard proof, so I gave her some
She had the envelope, where you think she got it from?
Now she gets the house, gets the kids, gets the pride
Picture me thick as thieves with your ex-wife
And she looks so pretty
Drivin’ in your Benz
Lately, she’s been dressin’ for revenge

…Ready for It? – Reputation

This track, in particular, was one of the songs that surprised a lot of new listeners, especially hip-hop and rap fans, due to the big deviation from the bubblegum pop sound to a darker, and sexy vibe. “…Ready For It” opened the show during Taylor Swift’s Reputation Tour in 2018.

Callout Lyrics:

Knew he was a killer first time that I saw him
Wondered how many girls he had loved and left haunted
But if he’s a ghost, then I can be a phantom
Holdin’ him for ransom, some
Some boys are tryin’ too hard, he don’t try at all, though
Younger than my exes, but he act like such a man, so
I see nothin’ better, I keep him forever
Like a vendetta-ta

I Did Something Bad – Reputation

The intro music is a slow build to a hard drop and you can hear Taylor’s vocals match the track’s energy. This song was shown in the ‘Miss Americana’ documentary being written in real-time where Taylor finds the melody for the song and builds the lyrics with the producer. This is one of the songs that have been turning non-fans into Swifties.

Callout Lyrics:

But if he drops my name, then I owe him nothin’
And if he spends my change, then he had it comin’

They say I did somethin’ bad (Oh)
Then why’s it feel so good? (So good)
They say I did somethin’ bad
But why’s it feel so (Good) good?
Most fun I ever had (Most fun I ever had)
And I’d do it over and over and over again if I could
It just felt so good (Good), good

Bad Blood (Remix) (Taylor’s Version) (Ft. Kendrick Lamar) – 1989

The music video currently has over 1.8 BILLION views. Kendrick Lamar was featured on the original ‘Bad Blood’ track back in 2014 when Taylor’s ‘1989’ originally came out and recently reunited with Taylor to re-record his verses for the ‘Bad Blood’ remix to go on the album ‘1989 (Taylor’s Version)”.

Taylor Swift spoke about her reunion saying “The reality that Kendrick would go back in and re-record ‘Bad Blood’ so that I could reclaim and own this work I’m so proud of is surreal and bewildering to me.”

She continued, “I still look back on this collaboration with so much pride and gratitude, for the ways Kendrick elevated the song and the way he treats everyone around him,” she added. “Every time the crowds on The Eras Tour would chant his line ‘you forgive, you forget, but you never let it… go!’, I smiled. The reality that Kendrick would go back in and re-record ‘Bad Blood’ so that I could reclaim and own this work I’m so proud of is surreal and bewildering to me.”

This song was a massive mainstream hit when 1989 was released in 2014, complete with a Kendrick Lamar collaboration and a music video with tons of cameos of pretty big celebrities.

Now POV of you and me, similar Iraq

Take time and erase you, love don’t hear no more, no, I don’t fear no more
Better yet, respect ain’t quite sincere no more
